Paint Protection Film in Antioch

Clear PPF that takes the rock chips, scratches and road grime so your paint doesn't, cut and fitted to your panels at our Antioch shop.

A clear layer between your paint and the road.

Paint protection film, also called PPF or clear bra, is a tough, clear urethane film that goes over your paint. Gravel kicked up on Highway 4, sand, bug splatter and shopping-cart scrapes hit the film instead of the clear coat. From a few feet away you barely know it's there.

The film is removable, so it protects the factory paint for as long as you own the car.

  • Partial front: bumper, leading edge of the hood and mirrors
  • Full front: bumper, full hood, fenders and mirrors
  • High-impact add-ons: rocker panels, door edges, door cups, rear bumper top
  • Full body coverage
  • Ceramic coating on top for gloss and easy washing

PPF questions

What's the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?

PPF is a physical film that absorbs rock chips and scratches. A ceramic coating is a thin, hard layer that adds gloss and helps water and dirt slide off, but it won't stop a chip. They work well together. See ceramic coating.

Will I be able to see the film?

Up close you may spot an edge if you look for it. From normal viewing distance, a good install is very hard to see.

Can PPF be removed?

Yes. It's made to come off, which is why it's used to protect factory paint on cars people plan to keep or sell.

Is PPF worth it on a new car?

New paint is when it's worth the most, because there are no chips to cover yet. Owners of Teslas, luxury cars and anything that sees a lot of freeway miles get the most out of it. See Tesla PPF and luxury cars.

How much does PPF cost?

It depends on the car and the coverage. A partial front costs far less than full body. Send us the year, make and model with the coverage you want, and we'll give you a straight price.
